BIO - Bill Seippel has been making candles since his early childhood, growing up as a youth in the Moravian Church. One of his first experiences was making candles was using his mother’s prized brass candle mold made by his Grandfather. His family was involved in the candle making process in numerous ways with a Grandfather, Uncle and Cousin who made the candle molds for Moravian Churches in the Winston area and an Aunt and Uncle who made candles and guided him though the process.

Bill and his late wife Anne have made beeswax candles for their church for over 30 years. They have demonstrated candle making in local schools, churches, and scout events and have been featured in a tabloid article several years ago showing their craft. They make beeswax candles for several businesses in the Winston-Salem area and ship them all over the United States and Canada for use in Lovefeast services.

Bill lives in Winston-Salem, NC. He has 5 grown children and 4 grandchildren. His family has lived in the Piedmont area of North Carolina since the mid-1700's and are direct descendents of the original settlers of the Moravian towns of Salem, NC (now Winston-Salem) and Bethabara (part of Winston-Salem).
